It took me a while to get these photos. These were taken by Karen Floyd when she and her husband so graciously picked up Fancy for us back on November 4, 2006. Thanks Karen.

This is a journal about our life with three BLM mustangs. Two we adopted as yearlings and the third is a 5 year old mare who was adopted, gentled, and trained by someone else. The yearlings were adopted from the Palomino Valley holding facility near Reno,NV and the five year old mare was adopted about 4 years ago by a wonderful woman at a Thousand Oaks satellite adoption. This is a great adventure.

I love checking in to see how you are doing with your Mustangs. Growing up in Pacifica we had Quarter horses and one Appaloosa. He was the wild one. We had him boarded at a ranch and he would chew his way out of the barn by eating the fencing. We nicknamed him the termite Your Mustangs just remind me of those days. You have so much patience. Keep up the good work. Your Mom's friend Bonnie
Thanks for your comments Bonnie. The horses are so beautiful. If only I could win the lottery and save a whole herd of them! I'm trying to encourage my mom to start a Delta blog...maybe you could work on one together??
