This is a journal about our life with three BLM mustangs. Two we adopted as yearlings and the third is a 5 year old mare who was adopted, gentled, and trained by someone else. The yearlings were adopted from the Palomino Valley holding facility near Reno,NV and the five year old mare was adopted about 4 years ago by a wonderful woman at a Thousand Oaks satellite adoption. This is a great adventure.
This was a big day for Fancy. She actually took hay from Jim's hand. That was a huge step of faith on her part. It's been one week since she arrived and that was the closest any of us have been to her. She's coming along.
